Studebaker / Press Adventure Update

Moving Day Friday!! STOKED. Got my moving quote, choked a bit.  I’ll get over it. It’s 4800lbs of my future after all. I don’t want to post pictures of the presses until I get them. I want the record of my adventures in printing to be accurate. There may be a lot of pictures of dirt.

UPDATE: Traded! 1960 Studebaker Lark 8 – Time To Let Her Go….

Deal made, one Studebaker for a couple of presses and some other equipment to get started with. AWESOME!!!

Not sure when we`ll be moving it. These ones have some give with the timing. The Chandler & Price Letterpress, not so much. Have to locate industrial movers over the next week and see how it goes. In the meantime there are two Codeword Magenta Print designs ready to go!

After much debate (with myself mostly) I have to sell my potentially AMAZING little (not really) wonderful awesome Lark. She’s about 15′ long actually. You wouldn’t think it by looking at her, but she’s massive by today’s standards, a thing of beauty. The rounded windows are intact with all of the trim. Made in Canada, with 3-on-the-tree transmission. I’m looking for $2200 O.B.O.
Oh! I also have a Shop Manual, Chassis and Body Parts catalogs. I’ll give them up too I suppose. You can still get interior kits, gaskets, etc. I have the info for the parts company. Just go watch the video… I can’t watch it any more!

I do not actually know what the mileage is, which is ridiculous I know. I can’t find my original notes and I haven’t gone to see her in a really long time and I need to go verify the correct number. I don’t deserve her. Please, give her a good home. If you are interested please leave a comment and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. She’s in Calgary, AB. I suppose that is also important!
